Hey /lit/, Hölderlin Anon here.

Just finished Hyperion. What a great read. The book is written in such a beautiful style. Did you also read it? What did you think of the novel?
For me I think Hölderlin is at his best in his poetry because there he can truly focus on the style and what he is trying to say, without being hindered by a plot.
Do you think he is better as a novelist or poet?

Also is there someone that is German that wants to correspond with me in letters? I want to practice my German
