It's a Dutch review (in English) of 1Q84. First he spends about 10 minutes waffling on about the author's other books, then he flips through the pages of 1Q84 with random comments you can only just understand. I can't tell if this review is terrible or just weird.

Anyone want to comment on it? Commenting is nice.

The book looks great, also.

Holy shit, I'm Dutch myself, but this is horrible. The mixture of Dutch and English words at random with the horrendous accent almost makes me want to kill myself.

I could understand what he was saying, but only just.

Also, why is 1Q84 translated into every language but English, before English? I thought English was a major world language or something.

Yeah, I'm subscribed to that guy or his Knife reviews, I havent clicked the link but I assume it's the same guy.

Some people say it's his magnum opus some say it's too silly for even Murakami.

Still gonna get it though.

>implying I'm not going to read IQ84 based on some youtubers review
>implying I let Harold Bloom deter me from enjoying DFW

I didn't watch the whole thing, so I don't know if it's explained why it hasn't been translated into English yet. I guess the Japanese are weird like that.
