After finishing this, I'm convinced no one has read this book.

>Government needs to treat people as individuals and not as a group to ensure fairness and social cohesion
>Government policy needs to be written with the recognition that people are inherently different and thus their lives will have different outcomes

Did you expect it to be a book about why the government should discriminate against people of lower intelligence or what?

I knew it was about intelligence and given how much people hate it, I was interested in seeing what it actually said. People tend to ignore true crackpots and given that Herrnstein was a Harvard professor, it seemed even more bizarre that they'd be pedalling pure racism as people imply.

Well that's how it works around here. One day a poster says a book is racist or 'redpilled.' Half-a-dozen or so brainlets and newfags hear him and decide to repeat that message, and so the cycle continues until Thomas Mann becomes a pedophile, Holden Caulfield rapes his sister, The Bell Curve becomes a racist book and Rene Guenon becomes a secret fascist.

People are treated as Individuals, not individuals in the west. We all have individual rights, we don't have rights individually.

The Left doesn't like it because it undermines the idea that social engineering can be founded upon symbolic gestures. Its criticism defies their premade categorization so it's dismissed wholesale in order to protect their ideological core.
