why is humankind as a whole so deranged, perverse, egoistic, sadistic and overall stupid
some people are just born this way, everyone is born this way, something traumatizing occurs to such people...? why are we so evil humanbros?
there is a book about it besides major collections of religious texts?

OP, you literally posted the answer.

Our pride and vanity led us to disobey even the simplest and most harmless command from our Creator, and so we have been cursed ever since. I think the Fall explains a ton about humans, which is why I'm so convinced it really happened.

And, frankly, I'm really disgusted at the entire Enlightenment conception of man as having fundamentally good impulses. That's bullshit. Left to his own devices, man is fundamentally wicked. You are correct, OP.

As far as books about this, you might read Dostoevsky.

We're trying to exist together in an overly complicated, constantly changing world with a brain that was originally meant to decide on things like "is this berry good to eat", "was that the wind in the grass or am i about to be eaten", and "do i have time to have sex with that other not-monkey over there".

We're capable of heart-breaking moments of kindness and mind-shattering moments of cruelty.
