>Hear one of my favourite songs playing downstairs
>no way can the guy im living with be playing that song
>go downstairs into the living room
>the song is 1-1 from Music for Airports by Brian Eno
>he looks shocked that i rushed downstairs
>laugh about the fact that the song is actually just from a film
>the film is Lovely Bones, directed by Peter Jackson, based on the best selling book.

it was on (maybe still showing) on Channel 4 for anyone who is interested, i thought the book was pretty good and the movie adaption was okay with the guy who played the peadophile doing a fantastic job.

Cute, the way Brownbear pretends to be living with roommates when it was actually his brother or father watching the film.

The book was written for young adults, right?

>> No.1955373

music for airports is lame. doubt you've heard any other ambient besides maybe SAW II.

well you'd be very wrong, i'm a big fa of ambient actually
and music for airports is pretty good, although ambient 2 is better arguably.

You know, a lot of times when people like Brownbear or Quentin post, I feel like /lit/ is the inexpensive babysitter that keeps them out of trouble while the parents are off, neglecting their children.

This is gonna date me, but it reminds me of the intro to Dream On: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97xrot0FW8A

I'm still unsure if I should read this book or watch the film. I've heard mixed reviews about it.

>> No.1955533

Nah, I like Brownbear. Dem Wu Tang threads.

Quentin, on the other hand, seems to manifest when least I desire him, and cackles madly in my face while extolling the virtues of clean living, in misspelled sentence fragments. It's like, I swear to Christ he's trying to communicate, but for the life of me I have no idea what the fuck he wants.

Oh man, I would have actually liked Inception if it was just about a bunch of serious-as-fuck grown men frolicking around a little girl's unicorn dream.

Polite sage because I don't really want to talk about The Lovely Bones. Just unicorns.
