I don't get it. does he want people to become NPCs?

>> No.19512725

>>19512655
He wanted absolutely nothing from anyone.

Depends on what do you mean my NPCs.

He said people to free themselves from any religious or philosophical framework but we can't because our brain is a shitbox which hears shit and the same shit we spew from ours mouths so we're conditioned and doomed. He wants people to give up the search of "enlightenment" because there is nothing to attain because there is no self and nothing to attain. Whatever is, it is already there. The need for escape or salvation is the source of all bullshite and degeneracy.

He's the worst kind of guru. The kind who convinces all his followers that he isn't a guru and he has nothing to say. And yet he still lectures and puts all sorts of silly ideas into their heads.

This dude just wanted to live a quiet neet life and he had a bunch of idiots barging into his house all the time like in Everybody Loves Raymond. He couldn't kick them out because of Indian hospitality or something. He didn't write any books, people just published their conversations with him.
I do think his ideas are misguided, but still very useful as long as you don't take them as revelation from God.

He isn't telling you what to do or what to become, because he isn't a guru/teacher. His main point is that thinking can't solve our problems, and that it is responsible for all of our problems. "Consciousness" is a product of thought AKA it is an idea. We cannot shake ourselves of this idea through thinking and return to our natural way of life as animals. Therefore, he knows that there is nothing he can tell you to change. So essentially he is just telling us that our thinking is why the world is such a shitty place, and that our thinking will most likely cause us to kill each other.

UG and Jiddu are the biggest pseuds that emerged from the revivalist era of Indian spirituality in the early-mid twentieth century; the era of the Occidental invasion, endorsement, and ultimate subversion of the Upanishadic ideal, or, to state a term I coined, Adi's Apotheosis (a reference to the philosopher Adi Shankara, often boorishly written off as a crypto-Buddhist). Neither one of the Krishnamurthies (I apologize if this is an incorrect pluralism) have said or written a truism of a profundity deeper than the idyllic thoughts of a youthful spiritual deviant -- ideas one would see sprout within the minds of apparently repressed and consequently rebellious Christian teenagers whose lives oft imitate Nietzsche's unfortunate celibacy rather than the vision of his ascended human. We may, of course, look at UG's early life interaction with Maharishi, R., or, Jiddu's "grooming" (double entendre) at the hands of C.W. Leadbetter to observe the revolt and the obsession to revolt which continued to permeate their being up until their much needed demise.

I apologize for comparing Leadbetter -- conman, charlatan, bore -- to the blazingly glorious embodiment of Allah that is Maharishi, R. But the comparison is not among them, but the two Krishnamurthies: one who touched Divinity (UG), and one who was touched by Satanity (Jiddu).

And to add on to this, UG says that listening to him is a waste of time but since you are looking for answers you will always want to listen to some kind of teacher. I shouldn't say he has no message about living, because he did emphasize that people should figure out live for themselves. We are ultimately too scared, that's why we read all these books and want answers. Even though these answers never will help us improve our lives.

He wants you to think he wants nothing from anyone. There's a reason he gave interviews and had conversations on camera after his supposed "great calamity". Most of us have an existential crisis when we're 12, he had one when he was middle-aged and it spoiled his search for inner peace and enlightenment. He neglected the experiential and embraced the empirical, which is a great way to count things and feel empty at the same time.
