Read this article on original seeing, it WILL help: https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/SA79JMXKWke32A3hG/original-seeing

Once you learn that you don't have to limit yourself to saying only things that you've already heard, 3000 words doesn't sound like nearly enough space.

Secondly, write about the Adverse Childhood Experience scale, and how it correlates to nearly every social and psychological ill.

Look through your class notes, find like 2-3 conclusions from the professor that you can connect into one coherent idea. Write out your arguments in very simple terms, like stuff that a middle schooler could follow, and then comb through the text(s) to find evidence supporting it if necessary. The trick is to limit what you're referencing to simple, direct ideas that you understand and avoid the concepts you don't really get. If you stick even roughly to your professor's conclusions/reasoning then you almost certainly won't overlook a direct contradiction of your ideas. Then write each argument in more flowery and intellectual language to make it as specific and unambiguous as possible, and merge them together in a coherent narrative.

2 weeks should be plenty of time for 3,000 words, I know this thread is a common joke on here but if you genuinely can't do even that then you deserve to fail the class
