dune was good felt like GoT in space but then he just starts to see through the fabric of the universe and all the major charecters die right at the end and it just killed any desire to continue the series

I really hope this book gets adapted on tv or film someday. Beyond the endless bants from Leto, there are some very kino actions scenes. The opening run through the forest. The Duncan predecessor Duncan that tries to kill Leto with a lasgun but hits his fat useless flipper only to be smashed by Leto's fat ass. Then the Tleilexu face dancer attack on Leto's travelling court. The final climatic scene at the bridge. Lot's of pretty cool combat scenes. Finally no more shield bullshit and just melting faces with lasguns.
