I just realized this. No matter what you do, you are causing suffering. Even if you go into the forest and only eat berries, that berry could of been eaten by a starving animal, that will now die a slow painful death because you ate a berry.
In order to survive you must kill others, in order for you to be happy, others must suffer.
Everyone has blood on their hands. Saints are just people who like to convince themselves their hands are blood free.

who are some writers that agree or disagree with me? I want my bleak and brutal world view to be challenged. Either by anons or someone who writes for a living.

That’s not true, there’s plenty of berries in the forest. And even if there weren’t I could share with my fellow herbivore.

now you're just resorting to lying to yourself. you know very well there aren't enough berries in the forest.

this wasn't the point of my thread at all. Im not saying that everyone has to suffer, im saying that in order to be happy, someone else has to suffer. What im trying to say is that its impossible to live without hurting others, the foundation of life as organic beings is bloodshed. Only when you are not eating can you say that you are not harming anyone. The only "good" thing a person can truly do, is kill themselves. I have no intention of being good im just saying.

? His post wasn't saying that either. Just recommending buddhism to you as a worldview that argues the fundamental nature of reality is suffering.

>foundation of life as organic beings is bloodshed
The foundation of life as organic beings is sacrifice*. Saying bloodshed makes you sound like a poorly read edgelord. A lot of world traditions acknowledged this.
However, there is purifying benefit in minimizing sacrifice in life as Buddhists and Zoroastrians both argued.
>The only "good" thing a person can truly do, is kill themselves.
The Jains have a ritual called Sallekhana which involves starving in the woods due to similar but more thorough views as yours. By doing Sallekhana they argue they purify all karma.
> I have no intention of being good
I can tell, which is why I believe people like you should be sacrificed first and foremost.
Intentions are important. If you have no intention to be good, then you truly do not deserve to live. Thus, sacrificing *your* life is fundamentally good.
