Because I hate the queer community and I hate “allies” even more. To some extent I’d rather be heterosexual, and if I didn’t already know that I am capable of being in love with another man I probably would entirely give it up because then I’d be able to credit all my feelings to lust.
But besides that I hate the layout of those sites, how they just become echo chambers for the banal opinions of soiboys and danger hairs, I like that 4chan doesn’t have a voting system and allows longer posts. Plus the boards I’ve used most either don’t refer to homosexuality so it hardly matters (like /ck/ or /an/) or have a large proportion of gay/bi posters like on /lit/. Plus homophobia doesn’t bother me very much.
Also there’s less censorship, I can express my antisemitism and intolerance here.
But more than anything else I’ve actually had meaningful conversation on here in the past, particularly about literature, lit got me back into reading and creative writing regularly. I like it here and I don’t need somewhere safe where everybody is nice to me about my sexuality, at least homophobic people can express themselves here.

Moby-Dick is my favourite overall and definitely my favourite work of fiction. I was greatly surprised when I read it to, I expected a long and autistic but well written book mostly about ship life, I wasn’t expecting such exploration of being. After I first read it I couldn’t stop thinking about it for months, and I read it twice again within a year of first reading it.
My favourite non-fiction book is Alfred Russell Wallace’s The Malay Archipelago, because its comfy stories of a Victorian naturalist.

If yes, it is either a Godly thing, be that from a direct theistical creation or a pantheistic type intuition into the fabric of the universe, or it isn’t. If it isn’t, then it is some emergent phenomena from a sufficiently complex information processing faculty. If this, then it is difficult, some would say impossible, to differentiate from any non-living intellectual process. See the Chinese room. Given that, I consider, say, computers, as possessing a consciousness somewhat like men.
The crux of the matter is whether consciousness is a faculty born to a higher goal than mere animalistic hedonism. If so we might infer a higher moral order from that.
Yet I fear our conversation proves that even if consciousness is divine, it can certainly be brought down to discussing gay gangbangs.

Even to reproduce is more than hedonism. I don’t know that we need deduce a moral order from consciousness, just that the fact we can conceive abstractly seems to me showing a greater thing than animal desires, that we can ask why we are here in the first place is beautiful.

I’m reading Kant’s critique of practical reason now, where he attempts to produce moral law from consciousness, and human freedom from moral law. The problem is, why shouldn’t this universal law be equally applicable to animals? In what manner are they, so constituted as they are, incapable of uplift? How could they be designed in such a manner when man wasn’t?

I suppose that’s not sexual; I’ve never had a long term gay relationship, but then I’ve also only had 1 long term heterosexual relationship and that was when I was in secondary school.
