literature has ruined my ability to enjoy video games, tv shows, movies, cartoons, anime, comics, etc. Now whenever I partake in those I think, Holy shit the writing is bad. Like, as a kid, I used to think V for Vendetta was very intelligent, but now I think it's cringe and nothing compared to, say, George Bernard Shaw.
So thank you /lit/ for freeing me from inferior mediums.

The Tale of Princess Kaguya was excellent as far as cartoons go. Also, Chris Ware and Seth elevate comics. Plenty of top-quality movies out there and some modern TV shows are at least at the level of top-grade genre fiction (Midnight Mass/Devs).

I don't play video games and I've never liked anime.
