I'm trying hard but I ain't good at this poetry stuff

This poem is allegorically the four aces of the minor arcana as they exist on the middle pillar.

the earth is my perfumed chalice,
and its handle is a serpent,
a current of wine from the stars
is poured, the wisdom of bacchus.

the moon is a graven glowworm,
knit upon my Heben mantle,
lit as by a silver candle
held in a negress’s firm hand.

the sun is my sword thrust through flame,
metal of the forge, made molten,
which shines as a lamen; Golden,
carved with the runes of my great name.

I am the prince of endless space,
I am the gem hid in the base,
I am he with an ancient face,
I am he, Lord of the aces.
