I've been brainwashed by this guy online that believes that films can't be as good as books because even the good ones don't cover beyond the superficial and it's own medium. Now i don't enjoy films anymore since this is kinda the case for a lot of films
Any book reccs about the strengths of film?

kind of used to think similar, but film has other ways to express the themes it tries to present, at the end it does have a range of ways to show you what it want more so than a book, and maybe characters or narratives wont be as fleshed out as a good book, but i think it can be worked on it
