That's because on weed, your brain acts slower, so every minor understanding that would seem fairly obvious to sober you (for example: you could step on a chair to reach the upper portions of a shelf) seem like great revelations and Heureka! moments to your slow brain on weed. It didn't figure out something great, it just took longer to figure out something simple - but it can't tell the two apart.

I thought it was because weed brings out my moon, night time, shadow, female personality that's repressed during the day. When I'm not high, I feel like a man and I can't get any words out of my mouth. I don't feel anything and I just sit and wait for time to pass until I might eventually try taking estrogen.

Your mind slows down, so distances appear larger. Your mind thinks it expands as a result, but it doesn't.

>>19341464
I like the dichotomy of the male and the female. However, I believe that speaking - creating words - is a masculine aspect. If you cannot get words out of your mouth when you are not high, I don't think the words you get out when high are any good.

>goes with the "mind goes slower concept" until the male vs. female comes up and then suddenly forgets it
jokes aside, for anybody not convinced, try playing some sort of high speed multiplayer e-sport (like Q3 or CS) while high: it will seem like you are 2x faster!!!! great!!!!!!!! unfortunately the enemy is 4x faster :(
caveat emptor

Yeah, when I clicked on post, I forgot to add a disclaimer, and then just didn't want to bother doubleposting.

My disclaimer: the male vs. female thing is obviously absolute bullshit aswell. It's all just physiology of your brain. But some thoughts are interesting to entertain, for the sake of art.
I think the struggle of modern art is trying to derive meaning from mechanically reductive meaninglessness. Even though it is fun to just roll with strange and nonsensical concept, in the back of your head you will always know reality is much less interesting. And constant "Yeah, I know." nagging in the back of your head needs to be accounted for. If we can overcome it, we can make great art again.

(Disclaimer: that last bit was also just artistic rambling.)

no, lol, you should have doubled down and said that females are slooooooow. I've once helped some people set up an art exhibition and saw two of them (a woman and a man with the brain of a woman) unironically think for 5 minutes how a 1 meter cable could span a gap of 1.5 meters.
they have other advantages. it's better to complete each other than compete (like the feminists do)
>And constant "Yeah, I know." nagging in the back of your head needs to be accounted for. If we can overcome it, we can make great art again.
you will make great art again not by -overcoming- the "Yeah, I know." in the back of the brain but having such a great idea that it shuts up by itself. if one artificially overcomes it, it's almost guaranteed he'll become a slave to some unconscious idea some fuckstick with money to buy advertisements implanted there

The first hour or so is the time when barriers appear to break and shamanic/lucid experiences are possible. However, it does seem to be illusory, because afterwards there is a prolonged (several days) period of doubt and darkness, where any "progress" made during that time seems impossible. Next time I'm going to record myself during that hour and later, come back and listen to see if any of it is valid or if it's all just a ravings of a dope fiend. I'm thinking it's the latter, but maybe I can at least capitalize on some of the ideas for the purposes of writing, making music, or drawing.

Oh, I never intended to imply that you need to take drugs to overcome the nagging. That would be a short term solution to a structural problem.

maybe not you, but a lot of people do take it like that
such demands made psychology reorient itself from psychotherapy that took years (and the therapist had to be a medical doctor) to CBT therapy which takes weeks (conducted by a disgusting SJW who did two years of community college).
it's an issue similar to abortions, isn't it? they solve a big problem pretty quick too

my point is: just because society says it's a problem, it doesn't mean you can't analyze it on your own
