Hey, pretentious pseudo intellectual neckbeards. I am looking for a novel that portrays a protagonist that is good at everything, but doesn't care about anything.

Thanks.

Hitchens unrelated because he is clearly not /lit/

No, I don't own a beard. Too young.

I was thinking more along the lines of L'Étranger, but then again Meursault was a faggot

Murakami's protagonists are usually pretty careless and they are always very smart so they get all the girls and solve social adventure puzzles with sheep and a tree. Also, Jonathan Safran Foer's books have protagonists that are himself, and he really likes himself so they can do anything but they are also very full of care because he is very narcissisistic and likes to QQ about everything actually dont read his books they are very gay and make you wash yourself after finishing them.

Don Juan, by Lord Byron
Eugene Onegin, by Alexander Pushkin
Oblomov, by Ivan Goncharov
The Magic Christian, by Terry Southern

Oblomov is only good at taking naps. That's a very specific skill, not what OP is looking for in my opinion.
