Some time ago I got interested in the history of Japan and it's the most utterly retarded shit I've ever seen. Their history and culture is filled with lies and stupidity. Are you people retarded or what? I was in Japan as a student for a year and it was the most functional, orderly, polite, clean and relatively safe country I have experienced. Even though it's been economically stagnant for the past 20-30 years, it is still better than 90% of the rest of the world. It's like like former weebs and now turned Ortholarpers, TradCaths and born-agains have a particular hatred for their old hobby. Seems pretty stupid to me, considering most Orthodox countries are post-soviet Stalker nightmares, with a mafia like money-grubbing Church, most Catholic countries are extremely violent and corrupt, and protestant nations are thoroughly secularized.

What nation isn't like this? There is nothing peculiar about Japanese history or culture that stands out as any more stupid or false than any other nation. In fact, it is far more tame compared to the lunacies and mass hysterias that occured in Chinese, Medieval European, and Meso-American history.

These problems afflicting Japan are not unique to it, it is the fate of all 'developed' capitalist countries. My country, Greece, has now an even lower birth rate than Japan, is a completely indebted slave state to the ECB and Germany (as most southern european countries are), with no hope in hell of ever repaying it. What is more my country has almost no industry, and produces nothing outside of agriculture. The consequence is that everything from social trust, to repairs has gone to and is going to shit. Northern European countries just boost their populations with third world immigration, something we are also doing now, but you already know the consequences of that. And everyone one see America is one catastrophe away from complete social breakdown. My point is the relative unity of the people, their work ethic and their economy, mean that they are in a better position that most to handle financial catastrophe and set backs moving into the future.

Yeah but that video is from 7 years ago and people were still utterly horrified when the bugboxes were announced. AFAIK Amazon took down the announcements because it got so much backlash. I used to respect Japan and Chinese cultural legacies until I saw one Japanese movie last night. I've watched a lot of art-house films and more around this world, but this movie absolutely revolted me. It did so in a manner that reflected their deeper cultural problems and depravity.
The film momentarily made me appreciate all Westerners, Latin Americans, Middle Easterners, and much more for a brief moment while I desired the ethnic cleansing and torture of all East Asians. I felt immense hatred in this brief flash, a desire for a massive wall between the West and East. I ceased seeing Easterners as humans for this moment.
I believe all East Asians, with their beady slitty eyes, have a natural proclivity towards cannibalism. It is in their blood. An East Asian believes that by cannibalizing their loved ones, a part of their loved one's essence is imbibed. I've seen it in Vietnamese picture books. I've seen it in Japanese films... I've seen it in Chinese webcams.
I hate East Asians. I do not consider them human beings.

I don't think the Japanese have a refined sense of self the way Europeans do. Japanese don't even seem to have complex internal monologues and instead think in images. For example, most of the time when Japanese try to write about complex morally ambiguous situations, they fail. Japanese are better at writing simple stories that have traditional atmospheres.
They're bug people too to a large extent. Most of what they do just involves saving face too, so they're very easy to predict. I suspect their crime rate is much higher than what the authorities say.
