Are there any books similar to the video game vampire the masquerade bloodlines? Don't have to be the same just a similar feel to it. Would The Vampire Chronicles be good for example?

Apologies for making this vidya thread btw

None that I've ever read. Not many supernatural/horror books use that early 00s grunge aesthetic for a setting.

I liked the Dark Kingdoms Trilogy for Wraith: The Oblivion, but I really like Wraith in general and I read it years ago so I don't know how it would hold up.
For Vampire, the obvious thing is the Clan Novel Saga, it's 13 books long and each book has members of a specific clan as the focus.

Not many things at all nailed that feel VtMB did when you first step out into the Santa Monica night. Deb's smooth voice talking to you on the radio with a caller telling you about the Chinese moon bases, mysterious disappearances due to a local serial killer, gangs and haunted hotels and busted up apartments with holes in the floor, man that was the good stuff.

There is usually a list of media (books, music, films) at the back of most of the WoD sourcebooks to help get an idea of the mood they were going for. Just go on /tg/ and find the PDF mega.

That was kino except for the fact that Stygia for some reason respects the sovereignty of some random Jews despite them possessing a plentiful, naturally occurring anti-spectre measure and no means of preventing the Hierarchy from just taking it.

I read The Saga of Darren Shan as a kid and thought it was good. Don't know how it holds up now. Think he has books that aren't YA as well.
