The problem was only ever 5% Marx. 95% of the retardation is the imagogy of communism expanded to fill and influence every field. It was supposed to autistically apply only to labor but grew to champion entire aesthetics and belief systems far removed from materialism and in the realm of morality and behavioral tyranny. Even the pure materialism argument is on shaky ground, but the moral argument and its mandated behaviors are downright evil. Consequently there is very little Marx left in the ideas of what most people identify as communism.

Nah, that's mostly revisionism. Marx was given retroactive importance after the USSR was set up so sympathetic Western liberals could have something to latch onto ideologically to help explain the current world order. His influence has mostly been astroturfed. None of the Black Hand read Marx, the Revolutions of 1848 were obviously not inspired by Marxism and these social undercurrents were happening independently of him. Exact same shit with Hegel too, he only received retroactive importance after Marx became important. Leftists are gonna do what leftists are gonna do, they can and will justify their actions in whatever random ways they choose, it just so happened that some of them picked Marx, but if it wasn't Marx it would've been somebody else. He is a real paper tiger and the proof is that most leftists haven't even read him.

Yes, actually. I believe people like Zuckerberg, Bezos, etc. see themselves as members of the vanguard party of American socialism. Marx himself saw corporations as essential to the transition away from capitalism.
