The first horror movie I watched was something called the Kiss of Death. Dude gets a voodoo doll somewhere in South America, brings it back, everyone who owns the doll and kiss someone else, that person is cursed and gets either maimed or killed.
The movie was memorable for 2 things, one escalator scene where a little girl get her hair caught in the mechanism, which is why I still take the stairs to this day, and a cheating scene.
I was 6. It was my first exposure to cheating. When I asked my mom why the dude was kissing a lady other than his wife, and she explained it to me, that struck me as more horrible than anything else in the movie. For years after I thought it would be something that would get you in jail.
