Your metric for determining if something is true or not should not rely on what you think sounds absurd or what makes sense, if the trinity is real then we must worship it even if its guidance is odd because its about the least we can do as fallible mortals to an immortal God and because it is then true

There are plenty of examples / events in science such as the double slit experiment that go against your metric for determining if something is true or not.
