It's short stories loosely based on my experiences living and working at remote roadhouses in Australia.
If you've ever read the short stories of W. Somerset Maugham and Henry Lawson that's the vibe I've aimed for.

Most civilized countries have a purchasing scheme for public libraries that buy up a few copies of all/almost all domestic authors.

I liked it although I understand why reviews would criticize the moralistic preaching. The imagery was nice but the characters are very transparent and the theme is spelled out without care for subtlety or contrast for reinforcement. It reads more like a blog post than a fleshed out narrative. Maybe you should have structured it like a diary to cover for lacking story elements

Let's translate the pseud:
>but you aren't popular, so are you even resisting? of course not, you're a nobody! You can't resist anything, nerd!
>if everyone is jumping off bridges, you're only going to convince more people to jump if you don't jump, too, because you're unlikeable
>if you aren't slaughtering the elite in full-blown revolution, are you even trying? of course you're not! it's not possible that society is mostly fine and you only have an issue with the inches they take too far, nerd!
>no man is an island, but let me say it with too many syllables
To the first point: what sort of defeatist aspect is this? Imagine internalizing cuckoldry to this degree.
To the second point: feel free to jump whenever you want, I'll be unpopular by myself up here
To the third point: more vapid defeatism and BUT SOCIETY IS TOTALITARIAN bullshit
To the fourth point: yawn

I can see why /lit/ might like this guy: he's a juvenile cynic and a contrarian to the core.
