You guys do any writing with pen and paper or just digital?

I slaughter a fresh lamb every morning and drain its blood which I then use for all my writing activities for the day.

I try to write a journal entry about the day before I go to bed, but some days I just do not have the will to

Dangerously based

My diary and notes are 95% pen and paper. Usually only stuff I have to submit to something are digital.

>> No.19069604

Journals and notebooks are just plain ruled paper and pencil, first drafts of stories are on a typewriter with initial revisions made in pencil, second drafts are typed up on a computer

>> No.19070533

Yeah, I like pen and paper but it gets messy pretty quick if you wanna edit anything.

>> No.19070697

I write first drafts on an old manual typewriter, then edit on PC. Handwriting i keep for my private journals. Wish i could handwrite letters but only my mother would reply in kind. Girlfriend gave me a kitschy quill pen in a badly designed holder, falls over easily, quite fun to use but mostly just decorative. I prefer fountain pen, pencil, and biro.

Yes I keep a paper journal. I use pencils, fountain pens, and art pens for journaling and daily work.

nice, what model do you have?

I will occasionally write things down with pen and paper when I'm not near my computer. I live in Texas and during the deep freeze in February when I was without power I did some writing on pen and paper with a lantern. When the power came back I transferred it all to my computer.

I can actually write in cursive since I'm a Millennial, so it's not hard for me to write a lot quickly.

i usually write using my old Waterman that i got years back after reading Belloc's essay On the pleasure of taking up one’s pen
But a few months ago i got a new mechanical keyboard and thats been such a pleasure to type on, that i've been using every excuse .

Anybody who uses a pen and paper these days is just a larper. People are raised using keyboards now and so that is naturally what they would use, it's also far more efficient. Even old people use typewriters instead of pens because that's what was the norm before computer and of course it's far more efficient. You're on the level of dark academia fags larping for an aesthetic if you write with a pen these days.

No, mostly when I'm practicing for some exam, but I just too fucking sick of it. I'm not doing it anymore. I just don't care. I always type things down. Pen and paper is useful solely for drawing diagrams and practicing math and shit like that. I think using emacs' org mode or something when I have to write something down.

gay opinion. My job requires a pencil and paper and can not be done by a computer.

I read at a desk, in a room with no electronics bit my phone, so yeah, pen or pencil is about it.
Also i've been bullied, by my wife, into improving my penmanship so i've been trying that. Trying out exercises from an old book on business writing
