What is your mission in life, /lit/? If you had billions available, what would you direct your focus and energies to?

fuckin around. i'd probably build a few AI models and train them, build several rural libraries and perhaps create a private institution of learning, and keep writing and reading.

To know, to love, and to serve God.

To find my home.
I am searching for some destination, for a place I can call home.

I've read Becker, Cioran, and others too dark to name. I know there is no mission that would bring meaning to my existence, nor anyone else's, save for the veil of ignorance that keeps do many plodding towards death with lightened hearts

If I had a billion dollars I'd probably go to a third world country and sleep with over a hundred beautiful women just so I don't have to keep thinking about sex. I might even pay 5 or 6 of them to stay in my house and become my personal sex slaves. Then I'd build my dream library. And then start a company to see if I can sustain one by being ethical and kind, such as paying well above average, 30 hour work weeks, etc. But I'll probably also build an opposite company that treats my employees like crap and overworks them. I'd also read as much as I can go learn and grow. Maybe start charities.

I would cure all my chronic diseases including ageing.
Most of them are immune system related and regenerating the aged immune system would likely also cure them, so that's where I'm taking my research for now.

I'd like to say that I'd do something grand with the money, but I've lived in sexless poverty for so long as a NEET that I know I wouldn't do anything good with it because I'm fucked up now.

Like when I got the COVID stimulus checks, I went on a grand amazon shopping spree. The money was like drugs to me. The whole world that was cold to my broke ass suddenly became illuminated by the opportunities afforded by my easy come cash.

At one time I was very idealistic and did a few projects that actually reached upwards of sixty thousand people, but now I'm pretty much a deranged vampire that lusts after life.

I'm a pervert. I have no self discipline. I let my weight balloon to over 350 pounds. I'm constantly sick and have all sorts of medical issues I have left untreated. The only thing I really look forward to is death.

I wish it was different. I saw how bad things were and I refused to go along with the herd. I just didn't know how bad things would get if I didn't comply. I have no regrets. I have no mission. I feel like my mission was not going along and I've succeeded at that, but the wages of resistance are destruction.
