Are there any good books about meditation that help you increase concentration, focus, and release stress over time without destroying my ego or piercing my unconscious mind?
I don't want that. I don't want to remove my concept of 'I'. I don't care that it might not exist or be an illusion. I like me, and I want to be me. Strange how Buddhists always seem to be totally for self-denial but never address the fact that you are a singular entity with a singular body and a singular perspective. The 'I' refers to that, nothing more, nothing less. So it's not an illusion, is it? Or else I would be you, or some overarching entity watching over the world like a spectator. But oddly enough, the sensation of 'I' would be there, too, as it is with any viewpoint.
>tl;dr, are there any books that discuss meditation without the retarded aim of shattering your self-perception? I want to strengthen myself, not lose it.

You have never read Buddhist literature apparently. If you're interested in these topics, you might enjoy it.

Is this the best book on meditation there is? Does it shill Buddhist theology a lot or does it leave you the possibility for your own interpretations?

>Is this the best book on meditation there is?
Probably. It's quite comprehensive and goes pretty far into deep states of both concentration and mindfulness.
>Does it shill Buddhist theology a lot or does it leave you the possibility for your own interpretations?
You can safely disregard it's scarce calls to try to incorporate not-self into your practice, especially in first stages. You might want to skip the interludes too, and the book advices you to do so if you don't find them helpful.

buddhists are infidels from the one true sanatama dharma because of their denial of the self.

read some traditional commentaries on the yoga sutra and about samkhya philosophy, its all about how you are really consciousness/purusha and detaching yourself from prakriti or matter/multiplicity. it makes much more sense to say that you are becoming more 'yourself', more conscious, rather than what buddhists claim, that you need to destroy your mental aggregates so you dont reincarnate again.

Do you faggots never get tired of arguing about concepts and which of your obscure esoteric interpretation is the right one and how that makes the other guy a deluded heretic? Shut the fuck up. I'm not even a Buddhist.

thanks i was going to suggest a few of those. there is also samkhya karika and for a modern book there is a book called to live within, by lizelle reymond, who studied with a 'samkhya' teacher in india called anirvan. at least that is what he described his teaching as. its a really good book.
