Hope that all of you anons that haven't read it yet will join me in reading this classic. I am taking a university course on Dante's Divine Comedy this autumn which I am very excited about.

Here are a few resources that I have enjoyed so far:
> Digital Dante by Columbia University
https://digitaldante.columbia.edu/dante/divine-comedy/
> The World of Dante by University of Virginia
http://www.worldofdante.org/comedy/dante/inferno.xml/1.1
> 100 Days of Dante by Baylor University Honors College
https://100daysofdante.com/
> Virtual Exhibit of Federico Zuccaro’s “DIVINE COMEDY” by The Uffizi Galleries
https://www.uffizi.it/en/online-exhibitions-series/to-rebehold-the-stars
> Lectures on Dante's Divine Comedy by The Great Courses
https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Dantes-Divine-Comedy-Audiobook/B00D8KOQDQ

Feel free to share anything interesting material related to The Divine Comedy that you could recommend to others. Cheers.

I will read it in my own time and I don't need your gay additional materials nor do I care about what homosexual course you're taking. In the end, I'll understand it better than you anyway.

I can't suggest you a good edition but if you want I can give you a link of a free program where you have Comedy, Iliad, Odissey and other Italian classics (1200-1900) + Civil Code and a database of aphorisms.

P.S.
This years marks the 700th anniversary of his death and, just as I imagined, Treccani published a limited edition (1499 copies), 760 pages, 488 pics, 22 essays. No price is given, I expect several hundreds euros at the bare minimum. But I don't think this is what you're looking for.

The one edited by Anna Maria Chiavacci Leonardi (pic related, it's in 3 volumes). Also there is a recent edition by Giorgio Inglese: I haven't read it and it is quite expensive, but Inglese is a respected academic so it is probably good.

A good resource in Italian is the "Enciclopedia Dantesca", originally published in 1970 and now accessible at the Treccani website: https://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/elenco-opere/Enciclopedia_Dantesca..

>Anche l'interpretazione che lo S. dà del titolo è certo schopenhaueriana, ma non dantesca: " Il titolo dell'opera di Dante è assai originale e appropriato ed è difficile mettere in dubbio che esso abbia un senso ironico. Una commedia! Davvero, ciò sarebbe il mondo "

When I was 14 I was obsessed with Divine Comedy, particularly Inferno. I collected images related to Dante's Inferno, including this 2010 God of War ripoff on my hard drive. I got into trouble because the teacher (whom I disliked) thought it wasn't a suitable game for kids. Didn't bother to explain it and just said I've never even played the game because I thought she would never believe that 8th grader would be interested in 14th-century Christian epic.
