1. YOU IGNORE WHAT TECHNOLOGY IS.

2. YOU IGNORE WHAT «SCIENTIFIC METHOD» MEANS.

3. YOU IGNORE WHAT RELIGION IS.

4. RELIGION, AND SCIENCE, ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE, NOR ANTITHETICAL; FAITH, AND REASON, ARE MUTUALLY COMPLEMENTARY.

5. READ THE CLASSICS (HELLENES, ROMANS, HISPANICS); DO NOT POST AGAIN UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THEM.

Does that mean we have to give quinine and curare back to the Jesuits and indigenous tribes? Is DMT still cool? Did atheists not having a unifying text make you not believe in books? Explain yourself and if we have to stop work on aromatics the ancients had dibs on.

>FAITH, AND REASON, ARE MUTUALLY COMPLEMENTARY.

No they're not. It's called "leap of faith" for a reason.

You have to suspend your critical thinking abilities and ignore the lack of evidence in order to maintain religious faith.
Faith actively obstructs reason.

The very concept of the "leap of faith" necessitates the suspention of reason.
