"Little Black Angel" came from the title of Rupert Butler's book on the SS, "The Black Angels" (as well as Jim Jones of course). I think I remember finding the phrase "rose clouds" in there too.

"The World That Summer" was taken from a West German film based on a novel by Robert Muller. I think Doug had some interest in Günter Grass as well. Not sure how much he actually read him, but in relation to his past...

Nietzsche and Crowley got quoted in songs. I'm going to go ahead and assume that the SD who gets the Rose on the LJDLP record is Savitri Devi as she also turns up on the Scorpion Wind album.
