While tidying up my shelves today I found a booklouse in the binding of my copy of Moby Dick. Have any anons experienced pests in your collection before? I am not sure if I should be worried, none of my books are too valuable or anything, but I don't want to unnecessarily damage my books.

This isn’t a pest control board.

just put your books in the freezer for a week or two and the problem is solved

Thanks anon will do. The ones that seem to have a problem I was given by my grandfather while he was downsizing, so they'd been sitting on the same shelves for about 60 years

Let the spider breed and engulf your home. I have to clean cobwebs daily just to walk around my residence, and so I know my hoards of 1"-3" spiders have my wood and wood pulp products are protected

Soundin a little based there buddy, i keep a couple spiderbros around in inconspicuous corners but on the off chance i have a female over i want my place clean. Wouldnt eco-policing more effectively be accomplished with pseudoscorpions? You should let these guys loose on your shelves
