definitely agree with this, can't write for shit when you are distressed

Am I mistaken if I consider the process of fitting the poetic force into writing a rational endeavour as well? I know that, besides the original and purely irrational impulse underlying their sensed feelings, there is also the musical intuition (picking words not based on the more quantitative measure, but on their natural, musical flow), but still all of this must fit a certain order that is rationally conceived, no?

disagree - i wrote ~99% of the time when i'm actively distressed / overcome with emotion.

nothing good ofc but still

MAWKISH ROMANTICIST DRIVEL.

POETRY IS THE ART OF CALCULATED COMPOSITION OF IDEAS OBJECTIVIZED IN VERSE; ITS EFFECTIVE CAUSE IS THE AUTHOR'S ACT OF POIESIS.

Missing the mark as always. You're our new Butterfree. Grats bro. Does this feed your ego? Are you happier? What does St. Thomas have to say about this through your spic filter?

He has a point, but like Heidegger criticised, it's conception of poetry and art as personal expression is misconceived.

You might want to add "por favor" so he understands the dire necessity of this duty he owes to us. I always tell the whores down in TJ "pronto" and they understand when I say "pronto" I mean "pronto."
