I know right.
It's such a great vibe.
My chum was asking why I don't go on /sci/, /b/ or /Pol/ (my old haunts, as I am a science grad) and I struggled to put into words the better vibe over here.

Also quitting TV is a great move. I have a TV in the house now because my other half loves to waste her life while I read things I hardly understand, but it horrifies me to think how little control I used to have about my media consumption back in the pre internet TV days before I got off that shit.

I think movies are actually a valuable medium to retain. Unfortunately, I continue to play video games but I've narrowed it down to only a few that I keep up with. Television is truly awful.

I was able to get into this mode for about 2 months when covid first popped off but then I regressed and now I'm back to doing nothing productive. I wish a big global event happened every 2 months so I could just stay in this mode permanently. It's worse having tasted that level of self-growth/productivity and having lost than just having never felt it at all.

Used to browse /pol/ but it is completely retarded now. Best place to go when big events happen though.

If movies were Shawshank or Forrest Gump caliber still I would still watch. I'm not interested in Spider Man 37 or some dog shit remake.

My next goal is to see a real, quality symphony. Preferably Bach. Trying to capture some of the old classical lifestyle. They had it right.

That's what I mean though, I'm not talking about cape movies. I watched Midsommar a couple nights ago and then The Man Who Knew Too Much the night before that (the original with Peter Lorre). I think there's a lot to be gained from the creative talent involved in classic movies and horror.

Nothing wrong with viewing the old classics as they had legit substance. I don't think I have seen a decent new movie in the last 5 years.

cut out music to.

Music is simply distraction from thought.
