The writing center at my community college is holding a minor one. Winners for the week are entered into a grand prize, and are published in a coffee table book. A short story of mine won the first week and I got a 10 dollar giftcard out of it, bought Dubliner's, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and the Metamorphosis. There was only one other entry, but I got praise on it, from contest runners and others.

This week it's a poem, entered, waiting on results. But I got word several entered this time.
