You could write the next "I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream." Personally I avoid pornographic or overly edgy and gory details no matter how grim the story. My advice is to give another POV so you arent constantly in the perspective of an edgelord. Edginess can be alright but if it comes off as didactic it will be obnoxious, so maybe leave some gray area and show you've thought about the themes and aren't just obsessively in one camp.

This is my curse, the moment i realise i am doing something i give up on it. Writing is fun and i enjoy it but when it gets serious all i see is the end game. Finish the story, send the book around, get denied or in case it passes, then start selling copies. And that's exactly what i hate. If i ever write a book it will be uploaded for free, under a fake name and surely not in english. But all you fucking retards, after almost 10 years being here have brainwashed me with that "we are all gonna make it" meme. Jesus, sometimes i really feel like i owe it to you all to at least try.
