You don't understand my point, the true Christian perspective should be that of the redemption of the antichrist, the antichrist becoming a solute within Christ. This and the rebirth of the antichrist is the Christian message. What I'm saying isn't that there is some sort of cinematic conflict and Jung is on one side or the other, I'm simply saying Jung is coming at it from an incorrect perspective. False consciousness if you will. I'm partially memeing of course, but my general argument is sincere.

But Jung would agree with this, since it's Enantiodromia, or at least that's what Jung calls the playing out off opposites on an individual level.

For him the millennia of Christ was of its growth from 0 ad to 100 ad, and the next millennia was that of the antichrist in the decrease and rejection of the Christian religion. It's coming to its most violent point now since we're at the end of the Christian era and the antichrist will soon reign supreme.

My point is that the reign of the antichrist affirms the Christian religion though, as the point of Christianity based on it's original motif (the healing cult) was the mutually beneficial existence of two categories in there opposition and supplication to each other. the case in which Christianity is rejected is the case in which the antichrist never arrives, and a low intensity agnosticism takes hold.

Only the people who fell for the century old peace on Earth meme will (which is most people) will worship the Antichrist, because he bring such peace and will be worshiped by all. Jung, and I say this as someone who used to be a big fan of Freud.

Without a doubt Freud had some good insights, but his rabid hatred for religion got in his way. Jung was able to confront the unknown on it's own terms, and as a result was able to make better sense of it
