The same kind of irrelevant condemnation of the writing style happens with Mein Kampf. I always interpreted it as an autist thing, where you understand that you're in a scenario where you're supposed to demonstrate your hatred for whatever hated thing, but you don't feel comfortable with the type of empty emotional denunciation employed by normies so you zero in on some technical detail. But maybe there's also a normie inversion where you can't distinguish between "thing is bad overall" and "each individual aspect of thing is bad" and condemn aspects at random.

His prose is hit and miss depending on the story and the section of the story.
