I'm new to philosophy, and I'm really interested in the topic of "finding purpose".

Although I believe that mankind can find purpose now, even among the most cynic. What happens once we reach a Hegelian Absolute? When we truly master our environment, how can one find purpose when everything is grasped? Do we succumb? I understand that our species will never live to see that day, but I'm still interested in hearing your thoughts.

Book recommendations on the subject would be highly appreciated.

just make whatever up and assign that as your purpose. If you're insisting on a ((((god given)))) objective purpose you're gonna become mentally ill. Or you could just accept there is no objective purpose, atleast no clear and obvious one. Why make it so complicated?
