Unironically this. Kinney was like a father figure to Roberts, he had the program on the right track, and Roberts knew that if he stayed he would be his first recruit. Lovecraft on the other hand was looking for someone new, someone whose work wasn’t done, someone who he could Mold into an original. Shamed he died in 1937. Roberts could've Lovecraft in Ohio and left for a new life in California. Anyway, Diary of a Wimpy Kid was the shit when I was in 5th grade. I love it, I love any book about a boy named Greg Heffley. (Please don't hate me for picking this book... it is fantastic and awesome and I read it about a month ago and I have no clue how it is)
