Thanks, man. I don't really link to my channel on here though aha, I think I've only done it once or twice. I'm hoping to finish up the Gardner books, do the Waldun video, then talk about general horror n stuff.

>>18926409
I’ve read it. I haven’t read the Final Fantasy books in ur Chanel but I have been reading through horror’s call. Waldun is extremely dry compared to that. He has his audience but just don’t go into it expecting crazy twists like CotC or Blood Meridian.

Ahh, the Fighting Fantasy stuff is super niche desu, I'm looking forward to finishing them off so I can start putting out videos that appeal to a wider audience. Shame about Waldun though, I'm sure the book will be okay but I'm lowkey enjoying the Gardner stuff lol. I like a good YA horror/fiction story.

>>18926554
Thanks! I'm always posting here just rarely about the channel

Waldun is going to be fine, I think he should do a video talking about his "sign off" process of when he agreed the final draft was ready. After the KDBooks review, it seemed pretty clear that he never actually sat down and read the book with a pen in hand. If I'm not mistaken, there are several glaringly bad mistakes that Grammarly or MS Word would have caught immediately. Did he not copy and paste it into a word processor? What happened? Was he sabotaged by his last editor? Was it a problem with his version of Adobe InDesign? I'm curious.

Maybe he will eventually. It looks like he's got a discord with a bunch of people from here so who knows?

I like horror’s Call too. Not in a low key way though. It’s like this guy said >>18926554
/lit/ is filled with psudes who shit on everything. Horrors call is pulpy but it’s damn good at that. I love horror pulp fiction and theres nothing wrong with liking what you like.

Yee, I said in the recent video that if it wasn't for the fact that Gardner wrote it and he's become a meme, /lit/ would probably be pretty cool about the book. It's pretty much just his name that sets people off.

I haven't got a clue about what it's like in Chicago but it's probably cool as fuck living there and being able to read stories about creepy goings on taking place five minutes away from where you live.

>>18926840
From what I’m aware of Chicago sounds like a good place to develop ideas for that genre. One of the big American cities with a lot of culture behind it. But a city thats had a lot of crime and dark things happen too. I would be interested in visiting it one day.

Okay since no one has asked it I’m going to. Are Johnnie and Mark gay? I got those vibes when reading Call of the Arcade. But i don’t think it was ever outright mentioned that they’re in a relationship.
