Post your favorite charts, new charts, updated charts, etc.

Warosu doesn't seem to archive images anymore, so past chart threads don't have the charts any longer, and I don't trust the wiki to have all the charts and in their recent versions.

If you're looking to get into Mesopotamia I'd be careful of Kramer. He's wonderful, but take it with a grain of salt - he was writing in the 1950s, and our understanding of the language and history was not as well developed back them. I can also recommend Foster's Before The Muses alongside Dalley. Mieroop is great, as is Postgate, who is a lovely guy and who owns a grey parrot named Humphrey, which he has taught Turkish.

Across his work, Jung looked at religious and mythological traditions the world over, you won't be disappointed, central to Jung's ideas, even, is that the Mandala is a core Archetypical image of the integrated Self.

That chart is basically the core of Jung's ideas, I wouldn't recommend diving beyond Archetypes/Symbols, Those books are definitely more esoteric/assume the reader has read and understood his previous stuff. There's a bunch of essays, Like modern Man, which are less vital, but if you're into Jung, they're probably worth reading.

There's also a wealth of secondary sources, like Fromm, Peterson, Neumann, Campbell, amongst others.

Los Suicidas del Fin del Mundo is an interesting read (the title is self-explanatory), nothing remarkable happens, but the book is surrounded by the eeriest atmosphere: the author is in a godforsaken town, in the middle of nowhere; it's windy, cold and niggers are blocking the only way out of town.

He does explain convincingly enough why mainstream economics is shit (supply/demand incalculable and not independent from each other, all goods are Giffen goods, Engel curve twists in any direction, Sonnenschein–Mantel–Debreu theorem, etc.).

If anyone is fool here, it is you.

his correct points aren't original and his original points are incorrect. his critique of neoclassicalism is broadly lifted from sraffa (1925) and ignores that sonnenschein-mantel-debreu relaxed its assumptions and is much more robust. his critique of monopolistic competition is mendacious - he just ignored the non-collusion assumption and, lo and behold, he discovers that it behaves like a collusive market which maximizes producer surplus! herb gintis would be a much better choice for a contemporary author who isn't a mountebank.

In mathematics, such assumption would be called "proof by contradiction". On par with capitalism as "benevolent dictator", and other weird impossible shit.

no, you're getting mixed up with marshallian perfect competition models where he tried doing proof by contradiction in his book. for monopolistic competition he deliberately misrepresented the model so that he could pretend that every economist who ever worked with it didn't understand math and they were conspiring to keep him from revealing the truth. if he simply disagreed with the assumptions of the model then he should have just explained why he thought they should be ignored instead of pulling a sleight-of-hand.
the guy makes $8600 per month on patreon doing nothing but bilking leftists who have no clue that there are much better options for them out there as far as economists go. he's spent the last 20 years predicting a housing bubble crash in australia which has never manifested. he has no aptitudes beyond marketing himself to fools, and he has done nothing to deserve his repute even with them.

anybody got a decent chart relating to written criqitues of capitalism/modernity/industrial society and the like? i don't really know shit about economy and have only read fisher's capitalist realism and crary's 24/7: late capitalism, but i am looking for more things in that vein. i guess marx's capital or even ted k's stuff is probably good but idk if that's jumping in at the deep end or something.
also has anybody read picrel? thinking about it, but honestly any recs are welcome. thanks lads

Serious question to some anons who have made charts themselves:
Did you really read all the books on the chart you made?
Curating a list on something would usually imply that some books made the cut and others didn't so it wouldn't but just the books on the list but several more who didn't make it.

I'm thinking about making a Sloterdijk chart but I'm still only halfway done with his bibliography after reading him for over a year now.

I'm sure there are people who haven't read the books they put in their charts but I think that's bad. Oftentimes I recommended books because of what I heard about them from people I trusted then when I read the book myself it was very different than what I imagined. I think it's better to read for many years and make a good chart rather than make shitty charts, but I guess both are valid choices.
