This is such an unthinking cliché, that relies on a faulty presumption of what it means to know something and an even worse idea of what it means to know everything. Read Hegel, just the preface to the Phenomenology will show you your error. Or better yet, read almost any poetry. True knowledge is never the mere assimilation of facts, words, paper, etc., nor would a complete knowledge of the world as you thus conceive it be possible or desirable.
