IQ 167

>> No.18849124

IQ is a shit measurement... growing up I knew a couple "gifted" kids who ended up either on drugs and OD'ing or working some midwit-tier job. A lot of very high IQ people do nothing with it, while some 80 IQ people use every ounce of their 80 IQ to be successful and happy.

Having read his books, he definitely knew that and most likely just did it to sperg out his anger and frustration. quite sad really, because people can easily shut down his narrative because of what he did

His stated goal -- which he literally wrote in the manifesto -- was to bomb people to gain notoriety to get published.

His manifesto was published after bombing people.

So, he did achieve his stated goal by bombing.

Also his choice of victims was dumb. Why did he go after small fries that the public would sympathize with instead of going after higher profile people, maybe even corrupt technocrats that normies might secretly approve of being bombed? Or quietly build up a following online over time, he must've known resentment for technology and modern industrial society would just grow over time, right? Look at how quickly the dumb "return to monkey" meme spread. There's a lot of unhappy people around who might've been more receptive to his message if he didn't taint it the way he did.

How do any of the things you said correlate to the quality of IQ as a measurement.? Having a high IQ doesn't instantly grant you a six-figure job. You can have an high level of intelligence and still be a retard who sits around and smokes weed all day. If you have an IQ of sixty-five, however--you cannot do anything but sit around and smoke weed.

Those are perfectly reasonable reactions to being very intelligent. When you are very intelligent, you can no longer be NT, which is a big hit on your quality of life. In fact, past a point in IQ (a very low point, too, ~120) it starts to increasingly negatively correlate with income (and even for lower than that the correlation between salary and IQ is not very high).

There's an interesting article about this
http://polymatharchives.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-inappropriately-excluded.html?m=1

>The probability of entering and remaining in an intellectually elite profession such as Physician, Judge, Professor, Scientist, Corporate Executive, etc. increases with IQ to about 133. It then falls by about 1/3 at 140. By 150 IQ the probability has fallen from its peak by 97%! In other words, a significant percentage of people with IQs over 140 are being systematically and, most likely inappropriately, excluded from the population that addresses the biggest problems of our time or who are responsible for assuring the efficient operation of social, scientific, political and economic institutions.

I don't think there is much correlation with high IQ. Sure they probably were very smart and around 140s, but IQ measures only a specific part of intelligence. Goethe and Cervantes had a sensitivity that cannot be measured with IQ, it is that which fuels their work.
