What are some good anti-science/pseudoscientific books? I want to become the kind of person the media call an antivaxxer/science denier/COVIDIOT/climate skeptic/free market fundamentalist etc. So far I've only read few anti-psychiatry books including Myth of Mental Illness by Szasz and Madness and Civilization by Foucault and I'm looking for more literature in this vein. I'll appreciate
>books that openly deny the current scientific consensus in any field and are at odds with the opinion of most experts
>books that argue that modern science is epistemologically unjustifiable positivist trash
>books that make the case for the fallaciousness of commonly accept scientific terms like "illness"
I'm mostly interested in heterodox views from biology, medicine, social sciences, climatology and economics so please no free energy/flat earth/ether exists/calculus doesn't work stuff from physics and math

Based anon. Psychology is a meme. We give pills to healthy people who are not satisfied with the modern civilisation. We weren't made for this.

Psychology, in big parts, is a total pseudoscience. Not because empiric psychology is impossible, but because the psychology community cares very little about such things. They prefer big bold statement to calm assessment. They prefer "qualitative research" aka anecdotal evidence yet pretend that psychology is a science when it shares more with the humanities.

So OP, how about you pick up a textbook on social psychology. That should get you started.

>t has been remarked that when one passes among the patients of the psychiatric ward, he encounters among the several sufferers every aspect of normal personality in morbid exaggeration. ... As one passes through the modern centers of enterprise and of higher learning, he is met with similar autonomies of development. ... The scientist, the technician, the scholar, who have left the One for the Many are puffed up with vanity over their ability to describe precisely some minute portion of the world. Books by F. Gardner I guess. I haven’t read them but I know him on the /lit/ discord. He believes in everything you mentioned and even more ridiculous ones. He’s always going on about how he’s convinced God told him to write his books and I have no idea how he’s a functioning human with the beliefs he has.
