I will re-read the same 30 authors all my life. It doesn't matter if you read a lot when you retain so little.

I've been reading the same 8 authors (Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Conrad, Melville, Joyce, Faulkner, Nabokov and McCarthy) for a long time now, don't ever plan on switching it up either
