Good or not, infinite jism distils modern american culture into literature better than any other i've read recently. Ducks, newburyport does it really well too but it's not worth sittinf through 1k pages of that

Yeah, but it distils modern america into a novel really well. I think it captures the monotonously repetitious and soul crushing anxiety really well.
Unfortunately the "the fact that..." shtick gets old really fast and generally i find the best parts are the lioness sections if only because they break up that repetition.
