Actual leftists i.e. Commies tend to be patrician tier educated or self educated with a disciplined art school or literature degree or pedigree from family background. Their writing is often extremely advanced and impenetrable to normies, which ironically doesn't suit their cause at all.

Succdems and libs (who you might be referring to as "left") tend to be normies, run of the mill, who can only write trash think pieces and long wordy essays for the Guardian or NYT that say mostly nothing in 3,000 words.

Centrists I would also include in that category of midwit libs who did well in high school, the annoying dorks who decided that they were the most intelligent person in the world because of that. These are the people who are producing the journalist-tier writing today.

Meanwhile you have the right who are an interesting complex of subtypes. There are mongoloid lumpen prole retards and country-normies who aren't worth mentioning because they don't write. Then there are the journalist tier rightists, Peterson shapiro carlson etc, who are similar to the journalist tier leftists but usually with even more of a smug self satisfaction about the effectiveness of their own self-education. They usually suck ass at writing, take a look at Peterson's book for instance, it is like an essay a 12th grader would write, just much much longer.

Most of their childhood would have been spent being indoctrinated into bourgeois values and being given an elite education. They tend to write better than the other rightists of course on account of their superior education, but they don't equal the ultra left's arthouse vibe on account of the very same cultural reactionism which is so inculcated in them that they do not expose themselves to new ideas and trends in art.

Not being overly preoccupied with individualstic advancement, person like this is inevitably drawn to humanism and socialist ideas. This is not even true and saying this is a sign of being poorly read. Consider Dostoevsky, Eliot, Yeats, Pound, Mann, Bloy, Borges, Gottfried Benn, Mishima, Hamsun, Celine, Waugh, d'Annunzio, Gertrude Stein, DH Lawrence, etc. Literary modernism was almost perfectly evenly split between writers on the Right and the Left. And if we look backward we see that people like Pope, Aphra Benn, Wordsworth, Johnson, Dryden, Hume, etc. were Tories. Cicero, the greatest stylist of ancient Rome, was a dyed in the wool conservative. Of all the arts, writing has perhaps the highest concentration of reactionaries. I say that as a social democrat.
