As the toy maker strengthens his relationship with the main character he finally feels like he can confess the truth that everyone but the himself (the toymaker) is nothing but a robot. When the main character is told this he snaps after the realization that he is nothing more than a robot, and kills the toy maker. After the toymaker is killed "life" continues on just as if nothing happened.

It's not a complete story but just something I've been thinking about lately.

There's a clan of ninja back in ancient china that comes into contact with a weeaboo from the future who brings them a time machine. He ends up dying from malaria or something doing something stupid and the ninjas figure out how to use the time machine.

However, the time machine spilts itself and send all of them to different times due to the machine being designed around one person. The time travelling ninjas all are forced to explore their personal desires and are tested in fighting prowness and wits when they learn that only one may survive due to the spilt.

Story is a series of showdowns, all of the ninjas are relatively horrible people and happens across time, each of them adapting to their own age to defeat their foes.

The setting is a city primarily run by various mob groups. Also there's magic in a fairly modern (year 2000ish) time

Raka works as a hitman for one of the various mob groups that runs the large metropolis of Vigilante City. Years ago he had accidentally burned down his elementary school, killing some ofhis close friends and injuring many other students. Sydney is the leader of a rising cult/religion promising it's followers immortality in return for their faith when the day comes. One night, Raka scopes a cargo ship using his boss' shipyard without permission. He kills the boatmen and steals the cargo. This small event results in a conflict between Sydney's group and the mob as he tries to recover his stolen cargo and the mob tries to take out who they percieve to be a growing threat to business. Through this conflict Raka encounters his old friends who he thought had died in the fire. It turns out they've been revived by Sydney somehow and he plans on using this process with the rest of his followers. The problem, he doesn't know how to hold onto the souls of the departed after they pass away, something Raka finds out he also managed to subconsciously do, which is why his friends were able to be revived. The story basically follows the conflict between these "fake" humans, Sydney trying to find and recruit Raka, and Raka trying to keep the mob and Sydney from esalating this into a full blown war that'll tear the city apart
