Greatest 20th century poet.

Yes definitely, even if you don't like the Cantos or prefer other poets to Pound's early work he's completely inescapable and has left one of the largest legacies of any modern poet. The Cantos is a treasure mine for poetic insight, coming by its nature at the very end of the poetic tradition of the West, and even the East, even if as I alluded to before, you're turned off by the style (not to mention the ideas, which only babies and donkeys about).
