DFW was basically an autistic human encyclopedia. If he had anything interesting to say, it was quoting someone else, and momentarily making a connection with something else he read, right before stumbling onto some other impressive referencing. Having said that, I liked all his interviews, but I would never watch any of them again. He's interesting as a person, but obviously not to interviewed. I enjoyed IJ.
