This is cool and all but who the hell was Loge? I've heard that Jones thinks Loge is the "truncated form of Enlightenment reason," which would make sense in how he lured Wotan on into usury, but it's still far from an exact parallel. Is he meant to be Jewish? He says he is Alberich's kinsman.

Yet Loge is never a wholly negative force, and even acts as a moral reflection on the action at times, like a Greek chorus. He's the one who first sees how doomed the Ring's power is.
