In fact, according to Juliet's mother and Nurse in act 1, scene 3, Juliet is a little more than two weeks shy of her fourteenth birthday. Lady Capulet states, "She's not yet fourteen" (1.3.14), and Juliet's nurse, who's been intimately involved with Juliet since the day she was born, states definitively that in a little more than two weeks, "Come Lammas Eve at night shall she be fourteen" (1.3.21).

>There is no such direct evidence of Romeo's age anywhere in the play. It seems odd that Shakespeare makes an effort to clearly establish Juliet's age—an age which is notably younger than the average age for a woman to get married in Shakespeare's time—but Shakespeare never mentions Romeo's age.

Perhaps because Romeo was around the normal age so it didn't matter for him. Then Juliet's age could be stated as her being young and innocent and thus would make the love more true and beautiful.

What is a "fully formed human being" in regards to females? We see it now. Due to lack of stability, they become either total Femcel lunatics, shaving their heads and growing their leg hair out and start attacking everything that resembles their fathers or they immedatiely fuck everything that moves to fill the void in their hearts that millennia of biology has impressed into their psyche: to have a family. The reason he states her age is because it underscores their youthful idealism of what love means. Romeo was obsessed with Rosaline but then becomes infatuated with Juliet. The point isn't that their relationship is well-formed and something that a mature person would necessarily condone. Do you remember how you felt about the first girl you dated/slept with when you were in your teens? That's the idea of love Shakespeare was writing about.
