so what happened?

Nobody cares about it. Stop making threads about it.

I care :'(

This is the first one I’ve made, and clearly I fucking care so thanks for bumping the thread at least you stupid fuck

it went mysterious. you must summon the editor's spirit

>>18683224
i care too

When are those lit idiots going to sell their annotated version of Moby Dick?

>> No.18683737

>>18683661
Who cares, from what I read of it, it is pretty terrible, half assed footnotes with bad jokes. A great deal of writing has been done on it, a long with many annotated versions, just get the Norton Critical.

it was revealed to be one of Gardner's vanity shill projects. report and move on

I heard something about a photo issue. But that never came. Who is to blame for this though?

>> No.18683923

I emailed the guy a few days ago and nothing

>> No.18683943

I saw some anons mentioning a few weeks back that this month's issue was practically done and should be out, but in the meantime: nothing. The editor, I think, is currently banned, but that shouldn't stop him from releasing the issue: someone else could make a thread here. The photo issue was supposed to be in August.

No way that’s possible. The covers/formatting for Gardners newest wave of crap shows absolutely no skill in design whatsoever, whereas the design in &amp is arguably better than the writing >>18683743

Has it slowed down? I think the issue with lit zines is that there isn't a great feedback loop. It's fun at first but there are no real returns.

I'm one of the anon's who was telling people July 10th 008 was going to drop. It didn't drop, radio silence from editor anon. About 4 days ago, I get an email from editor anon saying he's in some trouble, now he's aiming for August, photo issue still planned for September. Despite how much I've submitted and corresponded with the dude, I don't really know what is going on with him but hopefully his life straightens out and we can all keep this crazy train rolling.

How strange.
I thought there were two editors

>> No.18686115

Yeah i’m not sure what happened to Prussia anon. I’m pretty sure he is still involved but i think editor anon was running this issue.

Think it overwhelms him. He had a recruitment ad in the last one for a new editor. Maybe someone should take the weight off of his shoulders. They could make submission posts too
